Meet Nancy Lopez LMT
Nancy has been practicing massage for over eight years and specializes in deep tissue and rehab for the muscles.
"Friends and family members always ask me why I got into a massage therapy profession. I would usually answer with “ I like to help others in pain.”
One early morning, I asked myself the same question and really thought about it.
It wasn’t just about helping people be pain free, what drew me to this profession is all that massage stands for. The Purpose of massage is to treat the body to be stress and pain free in a pure and natural way. We put our bodies through so much every day that by the end of the week we end up with aches and pains everywhere. Often enough our first instinct is to go for medication, without realizing we are numbing the symptoms without treating the problem. So the reason why I became a massage therapist is not only to help my patients with their pain, it’s so that when our bodies start to feel fatigue we don’t reach for medication. We treat the problem in a holistic way with massage.
